What We Learned
In this last six weeks, we learned how to use reflexive verbs in spanish dealing with peoples daily routines. We used them in sentences along with our newly learned vocabulary and grammer.
How We Made Our Avatars
We were required to use our avatars from the Voki website to discuss our daily routine for getting ready for school. The process wasn’t difficult, it just required quiet a few steps.
- We wrote a rough draft
- Had to get it checked by our teacher
- Our teacher showed us our mistakes but didn’t tell us how to correct them
- We then had to correct it and get it checked again
- After it was mistake free we practiced our pronunciation
- We then used our cell phone to call into the Voki website and followed the steps on the phone to record our voice.
- Once it was recorded we e-mailed it to our teacher and our avatar was complete!
This project counts as our six weeks test grade.
Was It Valuable?
I personally enjoyed this project. We were allowed to use websites in order to create it. I think i enjoyed it because we were not used to using the computer and things to do a project, normally its on paper. It was a great expirienc, and also very fun. I would much rather do this that stand in front of the class and present my script. I think this was valuable because it gave me a chance to hear myself speak in spanish. I hope we do this again.
Cam, your blog post is amazing! You explained the steps very well. Your avatar is really good. You sounded happy and it was easy to comprehend. Do you like using the avatars?
